Türkiye A Milli Futbol Takımı, 2026 Dünya Kupası Elemeleri Play-Off Final maçında Kosova'yı deplasmanda 1-0 mağlup ederek şampiyona biletini aldı. Son olarak 2002'de Dünya Kupası'na katılan ve Şenol Güneş yönetiminde turnuvayı 3. sırada tamamlayan ay-yıldızlı takım, 24 yıl sonra yeniden finallere gitmeye hak kazandı.
Turkey Returns to the World Cup After 24 Years!
The Turkish National Football Team secured its ticket to the championship by defeating Kosovo 1-0 away in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Play-Off Final. Having last competed in the World Cup in 2002—where they finished in 3rd place under the leadership of Şenol Güneş—the "Crescent-Stars" have qualified for the finals once again after a 24-year hiatus.
